!!!One Red Patch Cable TRADED!!!

That's right. the One Red Patch Cable has now left the building. I traded it for an Ederol UM-2 USB to midi converter.

I made the trade to a fella named Mirand from Northern California. Here's a picture of him and his gear plus a little something about his interests and the trade....

"I got into MIDI and recording gear in 1993. Due to procrastination, electronic music has remained at a hobby level, occasionally playing with or for friends. The UM-2 was used for configuring my tone module from the laptop, and was part of my plan to transition to software sequencers. Recently, I decided to buy a M-Audio interface with audio, allowing me to abandon my hardware recorder. The day I got home from that purchase, I saw a link on Twitter from @SynthGear to One Red Patch Cable. I figured that I could afford to at least get you started with something that has a MIDI port."

....he also made an unboxing video of the cable. Check out the warnings :D

THANKS AGAIN MIRAND!

P.S. I've already received offers for the UM-2 and will be posting info on the next trade soon ;)

One Red Patch Cable In Action.

Hey folks,

I decided that each time I trade up I'll make a video featuring me jamming with the new item for offer. So for now, here's a short clip of me noodling around with the One Red Patch Cable that is up for trade at this time. First I use the trusty cable to play my circuit bent See'n Say and then later in the video it lovingly delivers the signal from my favorite modified toy saxophone. As you can see from the demonstration, the cable is fully functional and red.

On the 1st and 15th of every month I look through the offers I've received and make a decision on whether to accept any. Obviously this schedule would be broken if the offer is time intensive or one that I "can't refuse". As of now I have 3 offers on the board. My hopes are that posting this video and others will stimulate interest and that I might receive more submissions before my next decision trade day. If you have something I might be interested shoot me an email.

Remember I only trade for electronic music related items and services.
If you're interested, please send all trade offers to:

oneredpatchcable@gmail.com

Thanks!

Now THAT is what I'm talking about!!!!

AKS Synthi for sale. 9500 starting bid!!!
...check out the auction HERE

This is exactly the kind of thing I hope to have the privilege of owning one day. A friend of mine has one but NEVER lets anyone play with it. He takes it out like once a year to clean it and thats it, back in storage. Too bad eBay doesn't deal in trade ;)

!!! WELCOME TO ONE RED PATCH CABLE !!!

Hi there and welcome to my synth trade blog One Red Patch Cable.

My name is Rob Wright and in the tradition of Kyle MacDonald's one red paper clip blog I am looking to trade for something a little better. For now, I'll take just about anything of value but my ultimate goal is to trade up to something I couldn't normally afford. I've always wanted to own a classic synthesizer such as an AKS synthi or even a Moog Modular. I expect it will take some time to get to that level of trade but I look forward to enjoying (and sharing with you the reader) the other electronic goodies and related items along the way to the mother ship.

Here is the ONE RED PATCH CABLE I have up for trade...

...here's another shot of it in action (keyboard and sax NOT included)

please send all offers to:

oneredpatchcable@gmail.com

If at all possible, please include a picture of the item, service or experience you are offering. Trade decisions will be made on the 1st and 15th of every month (unless I get an offer I can't refuse) and top offers will be listed on the blog for viewer scrutiny ;)

I'm really excited to see where this goes so please follow my blog and feel free to make any offer as long as it is related to synthesizers ;)
